Hi Rony,
You know mate, Sofia Nomads is an amateur football club where people come and play football after work and try to recover from the stress. The club is the place where friends meet each other - more come for the game but some for the beer after.
The level of the players is different - some good some bad even some worse like me and that is normal we are not professional.
If you would like to organize a special training day for "advanced players" talk to the people you think are good enough and organize such games out of the forum but please do not split the members in categories.
Regards,
Marin

Dear President, thank you for your reply, as you know i was not splitting anything, i was merely suggesting something and as i can see no one is from my opinion so it does not matter. I guess you are right and this is a place to de-stress after work or in my case add more stress sometimes.
See you on the pitch.

Regarding Rony's point -
A club with as many members as the Nomads has I think would benefit from having some games/trainings at different levels.
Rony is one of the few who voices his opinions but he has a point. Quite a few people who've played with nomads over the past few years, for example, Kevin, Assen, Kevin O, Andrea, Myself, Rony, Brice, Rich have been keen on playing competitively, with weekly training.
I don't want to take away anything from the organisers of the club, who put in a lot of effort, but people look for different things, and I see no reason why The Nomads can't be a club with all levels catered for and remain being very social. This is what all successful amateur sports club achieve...

To be fair it's not a bad idea and one I'm OK with, though I do take Marin's point. The problem as I see it is you have to name a 1st team or squad. You need a dedicated day to train them, someone to train/manage them and they need a fixture list and season. Who would want to arrange all that? Any volunteers?
You also need the squad to be committed to the team and the fixtures - could you count on that given that most of us are in our thirties, half of us have kids? Personally, probably not.

My name wasn't mentionned in the Jedi Masters list, but I hope you will accept some small Padawans like me. If not, just remove my name.

1. This is an amateur club and that is why I am in it. If somebody wants to be professional do it somewhere else - I dont like spending club money on AMFL at all.
2. Moderators - there are 'somebody's friends' who keep coming to our games for long time now without being club members. Is that allowed? If not please enforce the club rules.
3. Coach - my impression recently is that the game teams are chosen by the most vocal player preference. My understanding is that in order to have best game the teams should be competitive - the HAT 1.5 we were using before (whatever that was) was much better then what we have now.

Super Ardis, as your reply is addressed to me, please mention my name although i enjoyed your colorful description of me and my friends))), to be honest, "somebody's friends" were always there when we had shortage of signed Nomads and when people drop out at the last moment, myself and other dedicated Nomads rushed to call and try to find friends to bring them to the games, and trust me if the President had asked for subscription from " somebody's friends " 40lv, 20 lv or 1000lv would not have been a problem.
I have always tried to be colorful and introduce some friends that have a good level to our club so people can enjoy and try to elevate their games and tell their friends that they played with a pro or against a pro etc.. but as i see the trend, i AGREE with you, you have signed to an AMATEUR club, but this is a democracy, everyone is entitled to their opinion, i myself enjoy coming playing competing and i do not care if i win or lose if the game and the players i am playing with share the same enthusiasm , energy and a little competitiveness.
And by the way it has been a long time since we had colorful comments before a game, i suggest we arrange a CHALLENGE MATCH that puts players who would like to play with some sort of competitiveness against those who only like to be only in an Amateur club and we settle the matter on the pitch)))
Cheers mate and see you on the pitch

Dear Ardis,
if you think my choices are wrong about the teams propose a solution, but
If your solution is to restore the old system, first thinking why that system was changed.
So if you have a better solution propose this, because criticize without giving solutions leads to nothing.
Greetings
